Within the collaboration with the American NPUAP (National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel), EPUAP (European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel) are leading on the Prevention Guidelines. Full details of this work can be seen in the Scope Document.

 

The work has been divided into six topics:

•        Aetiology

•        Risk Assessment

•        Nutrition

•        Skin Assessment

•        Positioning

•        Support Surfaces

 

Each of these topics will be reviewed and draft statements developed for consideration by the Stakeholders.
